All my friends know that I have a passion for turning trash into treasure, so they always save stuff for me.  My best friend saved several baby food jars because she knew I would use them for something… and I did!  I decided to make these Recycled Baby Food Jar Party Favors for an upcoming Christmas party that we are hosting.  Here’s how I made them.

Materials:

  • Clean and dry baby food jars
  • Decorative scrapbook paper
  • Scissors
  • Paper cutter
  • Ruler
  • Double-sided tape
  • Assortment of SweetWorks candy

Instructions:

Make sure that your baby food jars are thoroughly clean and dry.

Pick your favorite SweetWorks candy.  I chose SweetWorks Foiled Milk Chocolate Balls in red, green, and gold and Niagara Chocolates Foiled Solid Milk Christmas Discs.

I filled my jars and OF COURSE I just HAD to color coordinate them! ;)

Using my paper cutter and ruler, I cut pieces to cover the outside of the jar including the lid.  I used double-sided tape to secure it all.

I just love how they turned out!  I think I’m going to place them at each spot of the kids table at my Christmas party.  Thank you to SweetWorks for sponsoring this post!  Please visit them on Facebook too to get more creative and SWEET ideas!
